JNicola Lacorte delivered a maiden FIA Formula 3 victory on home soil at Monza, taking Car 29 to the top step of the podium in the 2026 Italian Grand Prix Feature Race for DAMS Lucas Oil. Starting third on the grid, Lacorte navigated a chaotic opening phase — including an early Safety Car — before working his way to the front and controlling the race from the middle stint onward. It marked the first FIA F3 victory for both Lacorte and the DAMS Lucas Oil team, and made him the first Italian driver to win an F3 race at Monza. The result also had championship implications, with title contenders Freddie Slater and Ugo Ugochukwu both suffering setbacks during the race — Slater retiring after losing a wheel, and Ugochukwu recovering from an early spin to salvage points.
